Simone Stella, on the Francesco Zanin Organ (2006)

A good wine does not need praise, and this saying fits on the complete box with the music of Walther. In greatness to me comparable to J.S. Bach. Walther's music is self recommending and no organ admirer should be without this specific box. Stella matches his qualities as an performer to the greatness of this composer, and to my ears it is a perfect match. Added to this is the fabulous recording of this fine organ, and no more wishes are open. I cannot remember ever having heard Walther to such perfection, and therefore have no trouble of recommending this set.
