Never mind which CD you play of this set, they are all equally wonderful. The contemplative and somewhat introverted style in which Stella performs this music is amazing. At the same time there is a stillness about the music, and a totally relaxed approach without hurry of any kind, that with every note you get immersed in the idea that this is the way it should be done. Coupled with an excellent recording of the Horn harpsichord, this box is a definitive winner on all counts. Hard to beat I imagine. Stella seldom disappoints, and this steadiness is a comforting thought.
